Ana Carvajal achieves the Olympic ticket in the 10-meter springboard

The young Spanish diver Ana Carvajal managed to get into the final of the 10-meter platform modality of the diving at the World Swimming Championships being held in Fukuoka (Japan), with the added prize of qualifying for the Games. Paris Olympics 2024.

The jumper Ana Carvajal San Miguel has achieved the Olympic place for Spain for the Paris 2024 Games, after reaching the final of the 10-meter platform of the World Championships that are being held in the Japanese town of Fukuoka.

The Spanish, who is only 16 years old, has concluded the semifinals in tenth position with 313.25 points and will fight for the medals this Wednesday starting at 11:00 a.m. (peninsular time).

The Madrid native, who in the last European Games won a bronze medal in the synchronized 10 m platform event with Valeria Antolino Pacheco, was the best European in the competition behind the British Lois Toulson, who was ninth.

For her part, Valeria, who was also part of the individual semifinals, could not get among the twelve finalists as she finished in fourteenth position, less than fifteen points from the cut that gave access to the fight for the medals and awarded the Olympic places.
